PALM BEACH INTERNATIONAL FILM FESTIVAL RANKS AS ONE OF THE TOP 10 DESTINATION FILM FESTIVALS IN THE WORLD

PALM BEACH, FL., June 4, 2007 The Palm Beach International Film Festival (PBIFF) was recently ranked by the international movie publication Movie Maker Magazine as one of the top 10 destination film festivals in the world.

Movie Maker Magazines spring issue ranked the top 10 destination film festivals in the world for aspiring Independent film makers to travel to showcase their films. Additional desirable destinations included the Bermuda Film Festival, Turks and Caicos, The Hamptons, Fort Lauderdale and Miami.

To be ranked in this category is especially important to PBIFF as we are funded in part by a tourist development funded grant and this esteemed ranking clearly establishes this festival as a tourism based festival, states Randi Emerman, Executive Director of the Festival.

In addition to this ranking the festival generated millions of impressions in international and national publicity including coverage by the South African Broadcasting Network and on the worldwide web at www.buzzine.com.

The 13th Annual Palm Beach International Film Festival dates have been announced and will be April 10 19 at various venues throughout Palm Beach County.
