PALM BEACH INTERNATIONAL FILM FESTIVAL SELECTED BY ACADEMY OF MOTION PICTURES AND SCIENCES
AS OFFICIAL OSCAR NIGHT® AMERICA PARTICIPANT

Oscar® Party to be held on February 24 at Bogart's at Muvico Palace, Boca Raton

PALM BEACH, FL., January 15, 2008 - The Palm Beach International Film Festival (PBIFF) has been selected by the Academy of Motion Pictures and Sciences as an official Oscar Night America Participant. The PBIFF is one of only 52 organizations in the United States to be selected for this honor and the only organization in Palm Beach County.

PBIFF will celebrate Oscar Night America with a festive party at Bogart's at Muvico Palace in Boca Raton. Attendees, encouraged to dress in Oscar Attire, will be greeted with a red carpet arrival at Muvico and will proceed upstairs to Bogart's where they will enjoy hot hors d'oeuvres, cool cocktails, swanky swag bags a silent auction prior to the Academy Awards® telecast with host Jon Stewart.

Sponsors include Bogart's at Muvico Palace and Perfect 1864 Vodka. Tickets will be $25 and RSVPs are required. Please call   of visit www.pbifilmfest.org for more information.

Filmmakers including Brett Ratner have strolled the festival's red carpet over the years.
