Palm Beach International Film Festival Announces Final Call for Entries
Competitive Film Festival Welcomes Filmmakers Worldwide
to Partake in the 12th Annual Event
PALM BEACH, FL., December 8, 2006 – The 12th Annual Palm Beach International Film Festival (PBIFF) is announcing a final call for film submissions with the December 22nd deadline early submission date fast-approaching. Filmmakers worldwide are encouraged to submit their projects for consideration. Festival organizers have planned parties, seminars, workshops and endless networking opportunities with industry professionals for the Festival taking place April 19-26, 2007.
All selected films are eligible to be included in the competition for "Audience Favorite" in the following categories – Feature, Short and Documentary. The competitive part of the film festival is available in the categories of Best Feature, Best Documentary and Best Short along with other awards.
“This year has far exceeded my expectations between the great parties we have planned and the quality films received,” explains Randi Emerman, Executive Director of the Festival, “We are looking forward to a record setting year for PBIFF.”
Entry forms and eligibility guidelines are available on www.withoutabox.com and the festival's website, www.pbifilmfest.org. Discounted entry fees are provided for films submitted by December 22, 2006, and the final deadline is February 2, 2007.

The Palm Beach International Film Festival is a 501(c)(3) not for profit organization supporting film programs in local schools and dedicated to making a difference in the lives of future filmmakers by helping them fulfill their dreams to one-day work in the world of film.
Founded in 1996, the Palm Beach International Film Festival emerged as a major cultural venue for the community as well as a productive fundraiser for film and TV education.
